Fast Food for Thought spurs writers into thinking, discussing, and writing in an educational setting. The THOUGHTS, TOPICS, PROVERBS, and IDIOMS were collected over the years from many sources. They serve as springboards for discussion and "quick-writes" and have been used successfully in writers' workshops in upper elementary and middle schools.
