The Readiness of the Rural People to Spend for Takaful Coverage by Hartini Ab Ghani, Salman Lambak, Zunaidah Sulong, Md Faruk Abdullah

This research was conducted to give some light on whether rural people are ready to spend their income in protecting themselves and their families. The team had identified three main objectives for this research project. For every objective, we have formed several thematic questions accordingly. The following are the objectives of this research: 1. To explore potential rural people’s opinion and requirement towards family Takaful. 2. To analyze reasonable coverage and pricing for rural people. 3. To propose appropriate distribution channel for rural people.
