At first, Kamal's early years are spent in relative peace under the direct tutelage of his strict, but very loving father. His principles instilled discipline that he will need to succeed in life. This all changes when tragedy strikes the Bukhari family, and suddenly Kamal is left to be the man of the house before he is a man himself.
