Banana is one of the important commodities for Malaysia and most of the entire nation. In fact, it becomes staple food for some countries. Banana has been used for many years and for various usages. Therefore, one of the main goals of producing this book is to share the knowledge on history, production and trade of banana to the communities. This book contain six chapters and written by the authors from various fields and backgrounds. This book explains on the banana history, genetics and types of banana, common pest and diseases on banana, weed control on banana plantation, economic values of banana and value added products based on banana.
