Synopsis
Reviews
I thoroughly enjoyed the book. This engrossing memoir captures the opportunities chemical engineers have in the palm oil milling industry than any book to date. But wait I don’t recall there is any book that has come out with stories from the palm oil mills! The book shows the passion that the author has for his work, and how he went into details to figure out the right answers. To his credit, the author conveys the allure of working in remote areas. Reading this book felt like listening to an immensely intelligent yet unassuming friend explain what life is like in the palm oil milling industry. Highly recommended!
I just finished this book and it is simply the best memoir by a chemical engineer I have ever read! I didn’t know much about palm oil industry until I read this book. The book is the best grounded writing and the most refreshing reading I have done, helping to put into perspective all challenges and opportunities within the palm oil milling industry. The book is excellent for not only working professionals but also students. It covers broad variety of topics all useful and relevant for a chemical engineer. It also offers practical application of chemical engineering in palm oil milling industry. The author gave a great effort and valuable times for this book. I will keep this book on the bookshelf and continue to reference the rest of my life.
